Create an account, then add your first few titles by scanning a shelf or searching by name. From there you can filter, sort, and build out lists at your own pace.

Yes. Cover scan lets you photograph a single case or book cover to auto-fill its title, year, and details.

On the Add Book screen, tap “Scan ISBN / Barcode” and point at the barcode or the printed ISBN. TroveBin reads the number — using your phone’s native barcode reader when available, or reading the digits with AI as a fallback — then pulls in the full book.

Every field is editable. You can also re-fetch from the source at any time by title or ISBN to refresh the details.

Movies are matched against TheMovieDB; books against Google Books, with Open Library as a backup for covers and details.

Yes. A single switch flips between your Movies and Books, and each keeps its own filters, lists and stats. Choose which one opens first in Settings → Default tab.

Movies have a watched flag and books have a reading status — want to read, reading, or read. For either, create custom lists (from any card's bookmark icon) to line up what's next.

Yes. Give anything your own rating, jot private notes, and for books record start and finish dates and where it sits in a series.
